The initial concept of the V.I. & B. Creatives Workshop was rooted in a simple but powerful truth: creativity transcends sight. We set out to highlight how individuals within the Low-Vision and Blind (V.I. and B.) community continue to express vibrant imagination, bold perspectives, and extraordinary artistic skill—through words, sound, texture, and more. Our contributors work in storytelling, poetry, music, and visual art re-imagined through touch and sound. They consistently defy assumptions. They inspire through innovation.

We have three main goals. First, provide a community sounding board that answers questions, builds networks, and celebrates success. Second, supply free expert-driven professional growth videos, workshops, and articles with an emphasis on earning through creative talents. Finally, produce a published anthology. The book will celebrate our resourcefulness and intellect. It will also give voice to a community whose artistic contributions are often overlooked. This collection will serve as a platform to spotlight the rich and diverse talent of our contributors. It will invite the broader public to experience art through a more inclusive lens.

We are thrilled to share that our mission has caught the attention of iPub Cloud International. It is a nonprofit publishing house dedicated to uplifting underrepresented voices through literature. Their support and shared vision will amplify the reach and impact of this project. We are honored to become part of their incredible community of diverse creators.
